China-Food
The ChinaFood
website and CD-ROM not
only includes in-depth analyses of China's food security problems and
prospects but also a large number of inter-linked tables, figures, maps,
and animations, which provide background information on China's
agriculture and rural development and on many other aspects of the
country's food system. I developed this CD-ROM when I worked as a senior
research scholar at the IIASA Land-use Change Project.

RAPS-China
The Regional Analysis and Planning
System (RAPS) consists of three components: a) A province-level database
with more than 300 carefully selected development indicators. b) A set of software tools to browse,
filter, and sort these data, and to combine the variables into
customized regional development indicators, such as a Human Development
Index, a Natural Resource Index, or an
Environmental Protection Index. c) A set of easy-to-use software
tools for visualizing the spatial distribution of variables and indices.
These consist of thematic maps and various types of figures and charts.
