| Internal Revision 1.15 | ||||||||
| Compatibility problem with non-English versions of MS-Windows | ||||||||
| Description:
Program crashes after clicking the OK button in the Load screen Reason: DemoTools does not run when the decimal symbol is set to "," (as is, for instance, the default in the German version of MS-Windows). The decimal symbol must be "." (a dot). Action: Was corrected in internal revision 1.16 Seriousness: High Upgrade: available for users who work with non-English versions of Windows Comment: If you have a German version of Windows (or if you use a "," as the default decimal symbol for some other reason) you must change the decimal symbol to "." (dot). You can easily do this in the Control Panel (Start / Settings / Control Panel / Regional Options). In the Regional Options menu set the "Locale" to some English version of the operating system, such as: "English (United States)". Don't forget to set the decimal symbol back to its original value, after you have finished working with DemoTools. Attention: This problem affects only users with a non-English version of Windows. |
