Can I use the DemoTools population projections for multi-regional projections?    
       
  Yes you can; but please be aware that this package is not a multi-state projection model. It does not simultaneously take into account transition rates between states (such as migration rates between regions). 
However, the software allows you to add (or subtract) age-specific population in each step during a projection period (in addition to normal net-migration). We use this feature to calibrate the results of our projection model, so that the results are identical with the 1998 Revision of the United Nations World Population Prospects.
